Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice from India. Unlike the physical emphasis it has nowadays, Yoga has many more aspects: Prānāyāma (breathing techniques), Kriyas (cleansing techniques) meditation, and philosophy. It offers techniques to balance mind, body and breath, thereby regulating the nervous system and bringing into balance all aspects of yourself. When all aspects of self are balanced we experience health and happiness. What to expect
In the Yoga therapy container we have 12 session planned over 2-8 weeks depending on your schedule. A tailor made Yoga practice is developed based on your physical, emotional and mental goals. Depending on your help-request different styles of yoga are adapted (Ashtanga, Hatha and Yoga Nidra). This journey is set-up so you leave with having done consistent work on the specified problem and, with a solid foundation, regarding technique, routine and experience, to continue your self-practise long after this container is closed. The course offers you a little taste of consistency and, a door to your own answers and feelings inside. All practise is connected to your specific help-request. Just as with anything, Yoga is not a quick fix, but is a tool that can greatly shift how you feel in your body and adres your problems when practiced regularly and consistently. We focus on the body, the postures, the correct technique and breathing and while doing that you can have a glimpse of what can unfold.

Practical information
- The treatment location is either in Amsterdam-North close to station North, easy to reach with public transport.
- A yoga therapy journey starts from 12 sessions which can be spread over 2 – 8 weeks. It includes a handout with all techniques, an intake session + 12 sessions of 1 hour. Sessions can be online or offline depending on the time-span in which you want to go through this program.
- Intake + 12 sessions costs €900 euros.
